Roy Miller is a former American football defensive tackle who played nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He was born in Fort Lewis, Washington in 1987. Miller’s father was a soldier in the U.S Army and hence Miller had been an army brat. He was already a star in his high-school days before moving on to the University of Texas at Austin. Roy Miller was a member of the University’s Athletics Director’s Honor Roll, and a prep honor roll student who was a three-time academic all-district selection, He in fact was one of the strongest members of the University’s squad. During his years at the University of Texas, Roy recorded 138 tackles, 25 TFL, 10 sacks, 44 pressures, six PBD, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. He also earned Fiesta Bowl Defensive MVP honors and was tabbed first-team All-Big 12 by the league’s coaches.
