You provided a different glow, purpose, and gave me the happiest moments to remember when I close my eyes. Holding a trophy in the air or a million dollar contract feels like an afterthought.
Somehow I have obtained the favor from the Lord, Rakiya I told you the night I asked you to be my wife there were two things I wanted more than anything to be in Love and to play football and yet with one of those to the side you are the answer to my prayers

This valentines day was very special for me. For one of the very few times in my life where I had the amazing feeling like “wow this is really what love is”. It is always a blessing to have friends, a wife is different. With a friend they can decide to unfriend you at the drop of a dime, but with a wife, there is a commitment that is made for life. It is a blessing to have someone who I can call a friend for life and build our family together. For that I am so grateful.
The bible mention in so many ways “It is not good for man to be alone, I will make a helper suitable for him.” These were the words of God in the garden before the Lord made Eve. This is why love is a good thing – and a God thing, that a man find comfort in a wife. When he finds one – he has found a good thing – and has obtained favor from God.
Rakiya, I love you and I look forward to spending the rest of our lives together.
